CEMS is a Skill Development Knowledge Centre established as a Section 8 "Not for Profit" company under the flagship program 'Sagarmala' of MoPSW and is promoted by the Indian Register of Shipping (IRCLASS).

CEMS is set up to provide industry-relevant trainings in the latest software, hardware, tools and technologies used in the industry. Our state-of-the-art technical labs are in Mumbai and Visakhapatnam, housing 20+ advanced competency-focused facilities. These facilities cover various engineering aspects, including Design, Analysis, Control and Automation, Manufacturing, Logistics and Supply Chain, MRO, Electrical and Energy Systems, etc.

By offering a combination of training, consultancy and R&D services, CEMS aims to play a significant role in driving the adoption of Industry 4.0 practices and preparing individuals and businesses for the challenges and opportunities of the modern manufacturing and service landscape.
